Good song to sing as a tribute to someone still living.?
My family and I are throwing my grandmother a surprise 75th Birthday Party. It’s going to be formal and I am going to sing a song for her. The only thing is I have no idea what to sing. I was wondering if anyone could offer me some good suggestions. I was hoping to sing something that is Jazz related, you know nice, smooth, and sentimental. Please tell me the name of the song and the artist(s) who sings it so that I can easily find it and learn. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it.
Misty by Ella Fitzgerald is a nice one, it is definitely nice, smooth AND sentimental, as well as something she may remember. Ella Fitzgerald did a lot of good jazzy songs so look her up.
Moonlight Serenade is a good song, I can’t think who did it though, maybe Frank Sinatra? Too marvellous for words is good too.
