Is it legally considered running a red light if the light was yellow as you passed under?
I would like to know because a police traffick patrol claims I ran a red light, but it was yellow as I passed under.

The law is simple if you can make completely through the intersection under the yellow light then no citation but if it turns red before you make it completely through you can be issued a citation.
However it is impossible to know if the light indeed turned red before you were completely through a judge will more than likely believe the word of a police officer than that of a normal citizen.
